In order to praise the woods qualities, one must love and know it.

The laminated wood which we use adheres to DIN(German Industry Regulations) regulations. The glues applied are manufactured in a melanin base, having low environmental impact and with cold joining they are chemically inert alter drying.

The sheets dried at high temperature are selected based on quality, folded and joined from the inside to obtain the required plank lengths. Later they are passed under the gluer and finally through a hydraulic press, which ensures that, the planks take on the required shape and size. The shaped planks then go onto the processing department where they are cut, shaped, perforated and transformed into the final products ready for customer use.

Sistem Costruzioni uses the most advanced technologies in order to satisfy customer needs. The robotic working centre, which carries out all jobs with milimetric accuracy, is connected by fibre optic cables to a geometric modelling program in the technical office. The combination of joining systems and the normal wood elasticity allows this very old but modern material to be subject to a variety of uses.

Before the laminated wood leaves our plant, it is subject to a special impregnated coloured products treatment which improves it’s resistance to possible parasite attacks or weathering, while allowing the wood “to breath” naturally.
